The old boundaries of the village of Manchester became the new boundaries of Lakehurst when the borough was incorporated on April 7, 1921. The first mayor of Lakehurst was Charles L. Rogers, who worked in railroad shops and then engaged in the mercantile and lumber business.

That picture reminds me of the old Weavers bar in Lakehurst..bet its the same building. Just to say history for Lakehurst always had it wrong..the Hingenberg crashed on Manchester Township property, not Lakehurst..google it!

It is the Lakehurst Naval Base, dick. Read the damn sign out front. U must be stupid
