No Manchester Municipal Races In Today's Primary
Residents can still pick party candidate for the lone seat on the Board of Freeholders
Although there are no seats up this year on the Manchester Township Committee, voters can still go to the polls to select party candidates for the lone seat on the Ocean County Board of Freeholders.
Longtime Republican Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari, Shady Lane, Toms River, is seeking another term. He is being challenged for the Republican nomination by John B. Paolella, Wyndham Drive, Bay Head.
Vicari is running on the Regular Republican Organization of Ocean County ticket. Paolella is running on the True Conservative Republican ticket.
Democrat Timothy E. Ryan, Isabella Court, Toms River, is running on the Official Regular Democratic Organization ticket. He is being challenged by Joseph Lamb, Wisteria Drive, Brick. Lamb is running on the Ocean County Democrats ticket.
Polls opened at 6 a.m.and will close at 8 p.m.
