"Aladdin's Take Out" the Musical

Whiting Fire Company #1 and in partnership with Whiting Business Association has made arrangements with the awarded Stellar Theatre Group, Inc. community theater 501c3 organization to present a fundraising production of“Aladdin’s Take Out” the musical.

Get ready for an evening of side splitting laughter and fun as Stellar Theatre Group unveils this audience participation musical showcase and improbable situation.

Penned by Judith Prior, the show, Aladdin’s Take Out is set in the roaring twenties, Rose, a girl from        a local nightclub, has come to work at Aladdin and his sister Suzie Wong's Chinese Take Out Restaurant.

Rose's boyfriend Mac and his two gangster henchmen try to persuade Rose to return to the club; 
Mac thinks Rose has stolen some jewelry from his safe. Rose refuses, so Mac has his boys 
kidnap her. Their attempt to do so goes wrong and they kidnap Aladdin instead.

Suzie buys an old lamp from the local flea market and she and Rose enlist the help of a very ineffective Genie to try to help free Aladdin.

The curtain rises on June 7, 2014 at Whiting Co. #1 Fire House new Banquet Hall, 120 Lacey Rd., Whiting, NJ 08759. Proceeds from the event will benefit Whiting Fire House Co. #1 and all are welcome for a good time and to cultivate a sense of community identity and life. 

What can you expect from an audience participation show? Fun the minute you walk 
in the door! Doors open at 6:00pm, curtain time 7:00pm.  Coffee and cake will be served and a chance to meet the cast.
