Classic Auto Show

   On Saturday July 20th the Whiting Business Association is sponsoring the Charity Classic Auto Event in Crestwood Village Shopping Center 9Corner of Route 530 and Schoolhouse Rd) to benefit the Whiting Food Pantry. The event will be run from 11 am to 4 pm. Rain date is Saturday, July 27th.     
    The Whiting Food Pantry has been helping families since 2002. Supported primarily by the Crestwood Village residents and clubs, local churches and grocery stores; community contributions have been second to none.   
     More recently driven by the recent recession and Super Storm Sandy the Food Pantry is assisting over 200 people a month; a truly staggering feat. Gren Pasquarella and his volunteer staff are deserving of our thanks and long overdue recognition. Now, they need our support!     
    Please help by participating in this charity event. Admission is free. We do ask for a voluntary contribution of $3 to $5 minimum for the Food Pantry. Kiosks will be at the entrances along with a thank you gift for all who attend.     Join us for a great family fun day with great music and entertainment. A live band, Silk and Seel, will be ringing a nostalgic bell with 60's, 70's and 80's tunes. WBNJ FM's Bill Clanton and DJ Al will be broadcasting from in front of The Crestwood Family Restaurant. The restaurant owners, Dan and Robin, will have their delicious food available for purchase. There will be activities for the kids, silent gift auctions, door prizes, a classic auto part swap meet, surprise sweepstakes and over 100 terrific classic autos!
