Recognizing and understanding ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) in adults can be difficult as the disorder is usually associated with children and adolescents. However, the underlying brain challenges continue through the lifespan, potentially affecting work and career, relationships, finances, and home life. Unrecognized ADHD may predispose the individual to struggles with depression, anxiety, or substance abuse.
Monmouth-Ocean CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) is a non-profit peer support organization whose mission is to offer education and understanding of ADD/ADHD to all. We invite you to join us for this informative event as we view the PBS documentary "ADD & Loving It?!", followed by a panel discussion featuring professionals who treat those affected by ADHD, and adults who live with the disorder. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.
