Second Fundraiser Slated for 15-Year-Old Cancer Victim
Friends and community members are doing their part to help cancer victim Alexis Mills.
The community support continues for local teen Alexis Mills, who's just a month removed from a cancer diagnosis.
The Lakehurst Rec Xtreme Action Cheer team, where Mills cheers, will be hosting a bake sale on September 14 and 15 as part of the Pine Lake Park community garage sale weekend to help defray the costs of Mills' treatment.
The fundraiser will be located at at 1833 Sixth Avenue through that weekend.
Donations are also being accepted online at the Alexis Mills cancer treatment fund, as part of an ongoing fundraising effort.
