Weekend Planner: Pine Lake Park Clubhouse Carnival, Document Shredding and Lake Horicon Events

Looking for ideas on how to spend your weekend? Check out these local events and feel free to post your own in our events calendar or in the comments section below. 

1. A will be held at the Pine Lake Park Clubhouse, located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Morningside Street, on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The carnival features live music, food, prizes, games and more. 

2. Ocean First will host a document shredding day at its Trust Office, 2915 Ridgeway Rd. from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Up to 300 lbs. of shreddable materials will be acceptable. 

3. The continues each Sunday this summer. Stop by between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to pick up some fresh fruits, vegetables and more.

4. Also on Sundays this summer, the Lakehurst United Methodist Church will host in the rear section of Lake Horicon from 7 to 8 a.m. Dress is casual and those attending are encouraged to bring a chair. 

5. The 2012 Carousel of Music: Brass Tacks Orchestra performance will be held at the Ocean County Library's Toms River branch at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Bring a chair to the free event. Call 877-627-2757 for more information.
