Manchester Salon to Host Fundraiser for Paralyzed Lacey Firefighter

Proceeds from $10 hair cuts will go to the Inglis family

Getting a hair cut this Saturday could help out a worthy cause.

in Manchester will donate 100 percent of the proceeds made on April 7 to the family of Daniel Inglis, a 24-year-old Lacey native who was . 

Hair cuts will be offered for $10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the salon, located at 1980 Route 37 West.

Inglis is a Lanoka Harbor volunteer firefighter and a Union City police officer. He graduated from  in 2006.

Surviving the accident was a miracle, his father Daniel Inglis Sr. told Lacey Patch in March as his son recovered at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.

“There is a reason why he is still here with us,” he said. “He still has a lot to do. He still wants to help other people because if you knew Daniel before the accident, that is all he wanted to do—to serve and protect.”

Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are preferred and can be made by calling 732-408-9898.
