Monday, July 23

  • Manchester's Township Council will meet for its second of two regular July meetings at 6 p.m. in the courtroom of the  on Colonial Drive. The agenda is available online

  •  dietitian Jennifer Klein will be at of the Ocean County Library to share summertime recipes at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required for the program, which is aimed at teens ages 13-18. Call 732-657-7600 for more information. 

Wednesday, July 25

  • The Manchester Board of Education will meet for its regular July meeting at the in Whiting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Summer ConcertFest performances, rescheduled from last week, will begin at Harry Wright Lake at 6 p.m.

  • Children ages 3-9 are invited to Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library to decorate their plant pots, sun catchers and kites from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Call 732-657-7600 for more information. 

Friday, July 27

  • The Lakewood BlueClaws will face the West Virginia Power for a 7:05 p.m. home game at First Energy Park. The game will be followed by a fireworks display and concert. The BlueClaws will also play at home Saturday and Sunday. 
  • The Teen Book Club at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library will discuss "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher at 10 a.m. More information is available by calling 732-657-7600.
