Monday, April 23

  • Manchester's  will meet in the municipal complex courtroom at 6 p.m. for a regular meeting. The agenda is available online
  • NJ ASK testing — and early dismissal — begins for Manchester middle school students.

  • Lakehurst's Board of Education is scheduled to meet for its regular April meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the borough's elementary school media center, 301 Union Ave. 
  • The Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library will hold a class on Basic Word 2007 from 2 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to use the word processor to compose documents. Call 732-657-7600 for more information. 

Wednesday, April 25

  • A will be held at the Presbyterian Church, 101 Orchard St., in Lakehurst from 10 to 11 a.m.
  • "Young Adult" will be screen at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library at 2 and 6 p.m. The R-rated film about a fiction writer who returns to her small-town home in hopes of rekindling a romance runs for 93 minutes.
