NJROTC Performs at Ridgeway Memorial Day Event

Cadets from the Manchester Township High School NJROTC unit made a special appearance at Ridgeway Elementary School to help the students there observe Memorial Day.

Cadets from the Manchester Township High School NJROTC unit made a special appearance at Ridgeway Elementary School to help the students there observe Memorial Day.  The unit's Color Guard presented the flag for the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance, two of the cadets performed a rifle drill, another group performed a marching drill , and they also demonstrated a flag folding ceremony that ended with the playing of taps.  Instructor Sgt. Hinger also spoke to the students about the meaning of Memorial Day.
