Michael A. Calarco, 87, of Manchester, NJ, passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Born in New York, Michael lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island before moving to Manchester 11 years ago. Michael worked as a printer for Dickard Co. in Brooklyn, NY. He was in the US Naval Air Force Artillery Gunner, a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and parishioner of Saint John's Church in Lakehurst.
Michael enjoyed singing and performing with his wife Gloria, especially his favorite song "My Way".
Michael is survived by his wife of 65 years in November, Gloria (nee DeLorenzo), his daughter Dolores Musumeci, his son Michael P. Calarco, his grandchildren Jacqueline, Natalie, Michael J., Matthew, Gregory and Emily.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759, from 8:30 a.m. to -9:30 am, then to Saint John's Church, 619 Chestnut St in Lakehurst for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
