Robert A. Anderson Of Manchester Township Dies At 82

Robert A. Anderson, 82, of Manchester Township died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at home. 

He was born in Imlaystown and had resided in Freehold for many years before moving to Manchester in 1972.

He was a chief switchman for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company where he was employed for 34 years before his retirement.

He was a member of the Road Apple Motorcycle Club and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Marilyn Kelsey Anderson; his children, Kathy Patterson and her husband Fred, Michael Anderson, Kenny Anderson, and Tommy Anderson and his wife Karen; three brothers, Bertram Anderson and  wife Shirley, Carl Anderson and wife Joan, and Jerry Anderson and wife Betty; two sisters, Ann Kleiner and husband Karl and Ruth Mills and husband Bill; and ten grandchildren, Jessica and fiancé Jay, Michael, Andrea, Kelly Bueti and husband Anthony, Jeffrey, A.J., Alexis, Ryan, Kyle, and Haley.

Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from  p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
