Robert W. Swoger, 89, of Manchester Twp. passed away Sunday June 15, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Robert spent many years working at Alcoa Co., Pittsburgh, PA. before retiring as Transportation Manager.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA., he resided in Florida before moving to Manchester Twp. in 2004. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1944-1973. Robert was founder and past president of Citrus Jazz Society.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor in 2002. Surviving are 4 daughters Deborah Dewyea of Jackson, NJ; Christine O’Connell of Aruba; Pamela Brighton of Williamstown, NJ; Lisa Halo of Spotsylvania, VA.; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
