3 Arrested on Drunken Driving Charges

The following information was provided by the Manchester Township Police Department. It does not indicate any convictions.

Three people, including one who ended up in the Ocean County Jail, were arrested on drunken driving charges in the last week, Manchester Township Police said.

Catherin Pouch-Mendola, 50, of Manchester, was arrested after being pulled over on First Avenue Saturday, and lodged in the county jail after being unable to post bail after being charged with driving while intoxicated.

The same day, Louise Titus, 54, of Whiting, was charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Holly Court; she was released on a court summons.

The third arrest came Oct. 11, when Taylor Megargel, 26, of Catawissa, PA, was arrested after a stop on Route 37. Megargel was also released on a court summons after being charged with driving while intoxicated.
