3 Arrested on DWI Charges

The following information was provided by the Manchester Township Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Manchester Police made three drunken-driving arrests, including two Toms River men, over the last three weeks, according to the most recent statistics released by police.

Two arrests came on the same day—officers arrested Sean T. Morissy, 25, and Joseph P. Salle, 60, both of Toms River, after they allegedly drove drunk.

Morissy was charged with driving while intoxicated after getting stopped on 1st Avenue on Oct. 31; Salle was charged with the same after being stopped on Route 70, police said.

The third arrest came Nov. 12, when police stopped Glenn A. Springer, 31, of Maple Shade, and arrested him on a driving while intoxicated charge, police said.

All three men were released on a summons.
