7 Arrested On Drug Charges

The following information was provided by the Manchester Township Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Seven people were arrested on drug charges in the first two weeks of the new year, including four who ended up in the Ocean County Jail, according to statistics released by the Manchester Township Police Department.

Louis F. Federici, 23, of Medford, Dorian T. Whelan, 20, of Toms River, and Adam R. Voigt, 21, of Shamong, were all arrested Jan. 11 near the intersection of Routes 539 and 530 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, police said.

Whelan and Voight were both unable to post bail and were taken to the Ocean County Jail, while Federici was released on a summons.

Ryan J. Tatham, 25, of Forked River, was arrested Jan. 9 on Route 530 and also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance; he was taken to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.

Daniel Fanelli, 53, of West Creek, was arrested on Route 539 on Jan. 12, and also ended up in the Ocean County Jail after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and being unable to post bail.

Tyler L. Barton, 19, of South Toms River, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance at the Manchester Shopping Center on Jan. 12; he was released on a court summons.

Nicholas J. Solly, 20, of Toms River, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia after being arrested on Englemere Boulevard on Jan. 10. He was released on a summons.
