Berkeley Police Arrest Manchester Woman For Drunk Driving After Crash



Berkeley Township police recently arrested a Manchester Township woman for driving under the influence on Route 9 near Scott Drive.

Patrolmen John Mulvihill and Patrick Stesner responded to a motor vehicle crash at 6 p.m. on March 26. While they investigated, they determined that Margaret Farrelly, 53, of Manchester was driving under the influence of alcohol, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

 As a result, Farrelly was arrested and transported to the Berkeley Township Police Department where she was processed. She was also charged with reckless driving and careless driving, the chief said.

Farrelly was released in accordance with John’s Law.
