County Sheriff Reports Four Manchester Arrests in March

Sheriff's department recently released arrest information

Four Manchester residents were among the 116 people arrested in March by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, according to information recently released by Capt. Matthew Armstrong.

From January through March, the department made 340 arrests and extradited 12 out of state fugitives to face charges in Ocean County.

Thursday, March 1

Nicholas Hennings, 21, was was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives R. Stark, M. Petrucelli, K. Allmann, Sergeants J. Adams and P. Sickinger on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant after he failed to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Officers processed Hennings, who was then lodged with no option for bail in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, according to the department.

Monday, March 5

Sheriff's Detectives P. Sickinger, K. Allmann and R. Stark arrested 21-year-old Eric Anderson on a Superior Court warrant charging that he failed to pay nearly $14,000 in child support. Anderson was processed by officers and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending his first appearance, the department said.

Wednesday, March 7

Ahmid Fisher, 20, was arrested for armed robbery, a 1st degree crime, for theft and threatening to immediately murder the robbery victim, authorities said. Sheriff's Detectives/Deputy US Marshals R. Trainor and T. Duffy executed the Ocean County Superior Court warrant for Fisher's arrest. Fisher was lodged in the Ocean County Jail on $250,000 bail, according to the department.

Tuesday, March 13

Sheriff’s Detectives M. Petrucelli and K. Allmann arrested George Ward, 45, on an Ocean County Superior Court warrant charging that he failed to pay almost $4,000 in child support. Officers processed Ward, who is lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a first appearance, the department said.
