Yet another car crash has resulted in a widespread power outage in Whiting, Manchester Township Police said.

JCP&L crews were called out to the crash scene and are working to restore power, police said, and the power company estimated at least 1,500 customers were affected by the outage.

Power could be restored by 1 p.m., according to a JCP&L estimate.

Friday morning's freezing rain has resulted in numerous accidents—at least 21 through 9:30 a.m.—including on that injured a Manchester Police officer.
