Parents Arrested in County Child Support Sweep

More than $571,000 in support is owed by 33 parents

Ocean County sheriff's officers made 33 non-support arrests of parents owing their children more than $571,000.

Two Manchester residents were accused of owing back payments and arrested in a sweep of parents, according to Sheriff William L. Polhemus.

Diane Acchione, 52, of Swanson Circle, owed $8,467 and Adam J. Newman, 24, of Flintshire Terrace, owed $6,597.

Arrested in Toms River and the amount they owed were:

  • Andre Gadson, 43, of Route 37, $164,777
  • Chad Dugan, 31, of Quail Road, $36,140.
  • Kevin Lee, 39, of Baylor Street, $31,139.
  • Daniel Dolan, 33, of Burnside Street, $782.
  • Donald Sandquist, 47, of Holly Village Lane, $13,557.
  • Brian Pitcher, 35, of Chateaux Land, $4,544.
  • Ronald Abramson, 46, of Aviary Way, $2,361.
  • Antonio Cure, 53, of Buchanan Street, $5,088.

Sandquist, Pitcher, Abramson and Cure were released after making partial payments of the amounts they owed.

Others arrested included:

  • Angel M. Gonzalez Jr., 27, of Fifth Avenue, South Toms River, who owed $26,573. He was released after making a partial payment approved by the Ocean County Probation Department.
  • Roger Johnson, 36, of Brick Avenue, Bayville, owed $4,425 and was released after making a partial payment.
  • Mark Deasio, 39, of Harpoon Street, Beachwood, owed $6,188 and was released after making a partial payment.
  • Edward J. Mitchell, 28, of Shell Street, Beachwood, owed $3,723.
  • Jeffrey Lane, 46, of Neil Avenue, Brick, owed $19,961.
  • Charles F. Cino, 42, of Ardmore Drive,  Brick, owed $3,908 and was released after making a partial payment.
  • Charles Fiorillo, 28, of Northrup Drive, Brick, owed $2,699 and was released after paying part of that sum.
  • James M. Gillenwater, 27, of Roberts Place, Point Pleasant, owed $10,487.
  • Jeffrey T. Farrell, 39, of Honeysuckle Lane, owed $4,951 and was released after making a partial payment.

Officers taking part in the sweeps were: Harry Foltz, Robert Stark, Philip Sickinger, Christopher Gentile, Michael Groesch, Christopher Watkins, Robert Johnson, Michael Pettrucelli, John Adams, Claudette Vasquez, Steven Moore, Sabina Meta, Juan Mercado, Timothy Duffy, Robert Trainor and Kevin Allmann.
