Grand Jury Indicts 3 Whiting Residents
Indictments were handed up last week by an Ocean County grand jury
An Ocean County grand jury charged a Whiting man with attempting to escape from police custody in Lakewood.
Andrew L. Huff, 34, of Pennsylvania Avenue, is accused of attempted escape on May 27 in Lakewood. He is being held in lieu of $40,000 bail in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

- Stephen B. Caswell, 28, of Arbor Street, Whiting, and Kevin R. Caswell, 21, of Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, for resisting arrest and threatening Seaside Heights police officers on March 18.
Stephen B. Caswell is accused of an aggravated assault on Ptl. Richard Sasso, throwing a bodily fluid at him, and threatening to kill the lawman while resisting his attempt to arrest him.
Kevin R. Caswell is charged with resisting Ptl. Lance DiFabio’s attempt to arrest him, threatening to kill him and three other officers. - Kathleen Herald, 41, of Bennington Court, Whiting, for allegedly having cocaine on May 24 in Lakewood.
