Hoboken Man, Out On Bail, Faces Charges of Breaking Into Vehicle

Manchester Township Police Officer an eyewitness.

Toms River Police responded to a report that a suspect was observed breaking into a vehicle on Bounty Court at midnight Thursday.

An investigation found that witnesses heard a noise, then observed a suspect break the window of a vehicle, according to Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.

One witness was Manchester Township Police Officer Arthur Cronk. Officer Cronk was off duty and identified himself as a police officer at which point the suspect stated “I have a gun,” Mastronardy said.

The suspect then fled on foot, being pursued by Officer Cronk.

Within minutes Officer Daniel Herr and K-9 Officer Art Pennell arrived at the scene, on Vincent Drive, and they observed the suspect being chased by Officer Cronk.

The suspect attempted to elude officers by jumping over a fence in the rear of a home on Mount Lane .

The suspect began to actively strike and kick the officers who quickly placed him under arrest.

Police arrested Andrew Aurigemma, 22, of 514 Adams Avenue, Hoboken, a former Toms River resident, and charged him with burglary to a motor vehicle, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a police officer, according to Mastronardy.

Officer Cronk was not injured, but Officer Herr was treated at Community Medical Center for a minor injury to his thumb that occurred while making the apprehension.

Aurigemma is being held in Ocean County Jail on $75,000 bail no 10 percent.

Prior to this incident, he was out on $50,000 bail after being arrested on November 1st inside the Silverton Pharmacy, Hooper Avenue, according to Mastronardy.

Officers Nate Williams and Dan Ruiz responded to an alarm at 1:30 a.m. when they observed a broken window and a suspect inside the pharmacy building.

K-9 Officer Art Pennel and his partner Blitz conducted a building search and located Aurigemma hiding inside the pharmacy.

Kathleen, your son is in desperate need of help and you are his only hope at this unfortunate time. I do not believe that all parents are responsible for there childrens poor decisions in life. But you are foolish to reward his behavior with new cars etc. You need to get him into rehab now because the drugs are going to ruin his life and your. God Bless

Here is my Andrew story: One night last fall a boat with its lights off came blasting dwon the lagoon kicking up a 4' wave, slamming dozens of boats into docks and bulkheads. Guess who it was? Answer; Andrew I have no dog in this fight, however, anyone within 3 blocks saw this coming. If Andrew is such a wonderful kid, where did he work after dropping out of school? You reap what you sew, Karma , whatever you want to call it. Andrew is where he belongs!

It will be on his mother's hands when he comes up dead. She is enabling and not seeking help for him. Money doesn't help drug problems. Children are a product of their environment. After reading this, this kid didnt have a chance anyway. I can't imagine a grown women and mother could talk this way and defend her derelict child who is a dredge of society. She defends him because she is embarrassed and doesn't want to admit she raised a criminal. I also don't think they have "money". I think the entire family steals and cheats their way through life. She looks like white trash. Very proud to be from Hoboken huh? Let him do crimes there instead of infecting other towns with his crimes. The rest of us were getting ready to have Thanksgiving with our families and her kid was out robbing people. Such a class act. Money runs out sooner later. Her thug is probably out right now robbing someone else so he can stick another needle in his arm. All this cash she shows on Facebook, all stolen to end up in his veins instead. Low life headed for prison or a casket. Well done Mama Bear.

Oh look, son of the year arrested two more times in 3 months for drugs and burglary. Pretty soon they won't be able to pay his way out. Keep him rolling in his Benz and range rover mom and dad. Such a good job you have done raising such a good upstanding young man. :kudos. http://www.njarrestpdfs.com/records/24925878/andrew+russell+aurigemma.pdf http://www.njarrestpdfs.com/records/24079856/andrew+russell+aurigemma.pdf
