Indictments: Lakehurst and Manchester Residents Had Drugs in Monmouth

Grand jury handed up indictment last week

A Manchester man and Lakehurst woman were indicted by Monmouth County grand juries last week on unrelated drug possession charges.

A grand jury charged that Bryan McLeod, a 45-year-old from Alexander Avenue, was in possession of heroin in Neptune on Sept. 27, 2011. McLeod was charged with another man, Antonio Davis, 41, of Neptune, with the third degree offense.

Davis faces multiple counts for drug possession and distribution, according to the indictment. Davis distributed heroin to McLeod within 1,000 feet of school property — Neptune Township Middle School — and within 500 feet of a public park — Division Street Park — the indictment charges.
