Jackson Man Arrested for Synthetic Marijuana Possession in Lakehurst
Thomas Musto IV of Jackson, charged with multiple drug offenses by Lakehurst Police
A motor vehicle arrest on Tuesday evening resulted in the seizure of several bags of synthetic marijuana, according to Lakehurst Police Department Chief Eric Higgins.
“On Tuesday, May 22, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Officer Jeffrey Emmons stopped a 2001 Audi for a brake light violation. The vehicle was being operated by 19 year-old Thomas Musto IV, from Jackson, NJ,” said the chief.
After Musto’s vehicle was pulled over, a search of the car revealed six bags of synthetic marijuana, which were immediately seized.

“Musto was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Lakehurst Police Department for processing,” Chief Higgins explained.
Musto was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (synthetic marijuana), possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and a maintenance of lamps violation. He was released from custody on his own recognizance, pending an appearance in Ocean County Superior Court, according to the chief.
