Jersey Central Power and Light will be performing spring routine aerial inspections on all of its Manchester transmission lines, according to Mayor Michael Fressola.
The inspections will begin March 3, and will likely take 12 to 15 days to finish, depending on weather conditions.
The inspection involves a helicopter flying very slowly, and at times, hovering over the lines for close inspection, Fressola said.
