Lakehurst Police Blotter: DWI and Harassment Charges
The borough's arrest blotter from March 13 to March 22
Lakehurst Police Department Sgt. Ron Heinzman reported the following arrests and charges in the borough for the last two weeks:
March 13
Sally A. Childs, 45, of Lakehurst, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving after Officer Iain James witnessed her stop short to avoid a collision with a disabled vehicle near Union Avenue and Lilac Street, police said. Childs had left a gas can for a motorist before being stopped by police. She was released pending a municipal court date.

March 15
Tina Sloan, 43, of Manchester was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving, improper parking, failure to exhibit documents and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance after police were dispatched to Lakehurst Wawa at 3:40 p.m. for a motor vehicle accident call.

Officer Iain James and Sgt. Brian Baranyay determined that Sloan, who parked her vehicle on an angle in the store's lot, was impaired while behind the wheel of her car, police said. Manchester Officer James Komsa, a drug recognition expert, assisted with the arrest. Sloan was released pending a municipal court date.
March 17
Thomas J. Fatula, 34, of Toms River was arrested and charged during a traffic stop by Officer Jeffrey Emmons for failing to appear in Elizabeth municipal court on a warrant in the amount of $808. Fatula was released pending a court date.
March 20
Danielle P. McKee, 33, of Toms River was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving, speeding and failure to maintain a lane after being stopped by Officer Ryan Valeri at 3:46 p.m. near Route 37 and Brown Avenue. Valeri determined she was under the influence of alcohol, police said. McKee was released pending a municipal court date.
March 20
Jamie L. Wickham, 27, and Constance L. Robinson, 21, both of Lakehurst, were arrested and charged with offensive touching harassment after Sgt. Brian Baranyay and Officer Iain James were dispatched to a Manapaqua Avenue address on a report of a fight between two females.
When police arrived, the fight had ended and both females were taken to police headquarters and processed. According to police, Robinson was turned over to Vineland police on an active court warrant for defaulting on $752 bail.
