How could they cause him to flip unless he was going too fast to stop in time?

HUH??? What Volkswagen what flip??? You guys are posting in wrong article..this was just a motorcycle accident where the rider hit his brakes fast to avoid traffic ahead and lost control of his bike..it slid away from him and he ended up hurt bad. As for this article its funny to read he had a "possible broken left helmet"...sounds like the rider had two heads.

Yeah, I noticed the broken left helmet and other goofy things as well-"and put abruptly applied his brakes". He ended up in the "northbound travel land". And this article was put up by the editor. Despite this example of a sorely needed proofreader, I wish the guy a speedy recovery and better, factual reporting. I am offering my services as copy editor.
