Manchester Police Arrest 4 on Drug Charges

The following information was provided by the Manchester Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Four people were arrested for drug possession during Christmas week, according to the most recent statistics from the Manchester Township Police Department.

Three of the four were local residents, according to police, and all four were released on court summonses following their arrests. Police didn't specify what drugs prompted the arrests; all four were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Arrested were:

Daniel N. Debonis, 18, of Manchester, on Dec. 22.

Christopher Scrudato, 18, of Whiting, on Dec. 22.

James F. Smith, 22, of Manchester, on Dec. 29.

Lorraine K. Oconnor, 24, of Newark, on Dec. 29.

I'd like to know what the Controlled Dangerous Substance was. And was that car used in the arrest. It seems like it's in every article?

seems the war on drugs isn't doing much. there's at least 2 articles about heroin arrests every week.
