Manchester Police Looking For Burglary Suspect

The Manchester Township Police Department is looking for a suspect in a residential burglary that occurred on the 1000 block of First Avenue Tuesday.

At approximately 3:53 p.m., forced entry was made through the front door of the Pine Lake Park home and the suspect fled the area as the homeowner pulled into the driveway, police said.

The suspect ran from the homeowner’s yard to a vehicle, which was parked in the street, and fled the area Westbound on First Avenue.

The suspect's vehicle is described as an older model silver 4 door sedan, possibly a Hyundai Elantra.

Additionally, the suspect is described as an unshaven white male, 5’8” to 5’10” in height, weighing 165-175 pounds, between 25-30 years old.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored wool hat, with a fold, a black hooded sweatshirt (full zipper) and grey sweatpants.  The accused got away with an unknown amount of proceeds at this time.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CIU unit also assisted with this investigation. This incident is being investigated Ptl. Patrick Mabie and Detective Rich Jupinka of the Manchester Township Police.
