Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Signs Complaint Against Lakehurst Man

Laurel Avenue man also a suspect in other burglaries

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office has charged a Lakehurst man with receiving stolen property during an incident in Neptune.

Elbert Howard, 58, 809 Laurel Avenue, is accused of receiving five pieces of camera equipment valued at $2,750 and trying to sell them in Neptune.

The equipment was from a burglary in Lakehurst. Howard is a suspect in several other burglaries, according to the Prosecutor's Office.
