No Injuries in Route 539 Crash Sunday, Police Say

The crash happened around mile marker 21.5.

A 17-year-old Hunterdon County resident who crashed into a utility pole on Route 539 Sunday afternoon wasn’t injured, Manchester Township Police said.

The teen, a resident of Ringoes whose identity wasn’t released because of his age, was driving south around 5:30 p.m. when ran his 2004 BMW 325 off the road around mile marker 21.5, police said, clipping the utility pole and ending up in the woods about 200 feet away.

Firefighters from Whiting Volunteer Fire company and EMTs from Quality Medical Transport responded to the scene, but police said the teen was OK following the crash.
