Pedestrian Hit on Route 70 Near Toms River Border

At least one person was seriously injured when a car hit a pedestrian on Route 70 near the intersection of Green Acres Road, according to initial emergency radio reports.

First responders called for a helicopter for the victim, but more information about the person's injuries or condition wasn't immediately available.
