Point Pleasant Man Indicted for Evading Manchester Police

Incident occurred last Christmas

A Point Pleasant man is accused of attempting to elude a Manchester police officer last Christmas.

Christopher T. Whalen, 47, of Sunset Avenue, is accused of ignoring the lawman’s signal to stop and trying to flee, according to an indictment returned against him by an Ocean County grand jury.

Whalen remains in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
