Police Blotter: 3 Arrested on Theft Charges Last Week

Manchester police arrested and charged three

Manchester police last week arrested and charged two township residents and one Forked River resident with theft, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

The first charges were made on June 13 when Earnestine Westbrook, 62, of Manchester, was charged with theft and forgery by Detective Albert Vega at police headquarters on Colonial Drive. According to police, Westbrook was released pending a municipal court date.

Also on June 13, John Schwarzenback, 44, of Forked River, was arrested and charged on Route 70 with theft and trespassing by Ptl. Charles Brooks. According to police, Schwarzenback was released pending a municipal court date.

On June 14, Sherry Jefferson, 47, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with theft in Plumstead by Brooks. According to police, Jefferson was transported to the Ocean County Jail.
