Police Blotter: 4 DWI Stops Reported Last Week

Manchester police reported the charges between July 21-24

Information released by Manchester Police Department Capt. Lisa Parker shows that four drivers were charged last week with operating a vehicle while impaired. The charges were issued between July 21 and July 24, and one driver also faces a drug possession summons.

  • On July 21, 42-year-old Sarah Bromley-Marchitto of Surf City was charged with DWI and possession of a controlled dangerous substance on Route 70 near Route 539 by Ptl. Michael Terranova. According to police, Bromley-Marchitto was released pending a municipal court date.
  • On July 22, James Teresco Jr., 50, of Toms River was charged with DWI after a stop along Commonwealth Boulevard by Ptl. Christian Nazario. According to police, Teresco was released pending a municipal court date.
  • On July 23, Matthew Soucy, a 20-year-old from Toms River was charged with DWI along Route 70 near Buckingham Drive by Ptl. Charles Gatnarek. Police reported that Soucy was released pending a municipal court date.
  • On July 24, Gabriel Rojas Jr., 20, of South River was charged with DWI by Ptl. Christian Nazario after a stop along Gladstone Street in the township's Pine Lake Park section. Rojas was released pending a municipal court date, police said.
