Police Blotter: 5 County Residents Charged with Drug Offenses

Officers from the Police Department issued drug charges to six Ocean County residents last week, including three township residents, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

The first of the offenses came on Wednesday, July 11, when Jackson resident Wayne Inman, 47, was charged with the offense at the Surf and Stream Campground by Patrolman Steven Wendruff and was released with a summons, Parker said.

The next day, Detective Adam Emmons charged Manchester resident Shawn T. Johnson, 29, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possesion of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Johnson was released with a summons, according to Parker.

Three were charged with the offense on Friday, July 13, near Manchester Township Middle School on Route 571. Manchester resident Anthony R. Carta, 26, Toms River resident Rokyah Farahiem, 30, and Joshua A. Ghigliotty, 18, of Cedar Run, were charged by Patrolmen Christian Nazario, Peter Manco and Brian Collins, respectively, according to Parker.

Carta and Farahiem were released on summonses, while Ghigliotty was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, Parker said.

Sunday, July 8

Joseph G. Floody, 49, of Cinnaminson was charged with DWI while travelling on Route 70 near Route 539 by Patrolman Robert Sharry. Floody was released with a summons, Parker said.

Brick resident Lori A. Riddle, 51, was charged with DWI on Route 571 near Richard Avenue by Patrolman David Fusaro. Parker said that Riddle was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

Wednesday, July 11

Manchester resident Christy M. Clements, 33, was charged with DWI on Route 530 near Fox Street by Patrolman David Fusaro. Clements was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, according to Parker.

Saturday, July 14

Matthew J. Stout, 21, of Toms River was charged with DWI on Route 571 near Manchester Township Middle School by Patrolman Joseph Fastige. Stout was released with a summons, Parker said.
