Police Blotter: Assault, DWI and Shoplifting Charges Reported
Police charges between Dec. 25 and Dec. 31
The following charges were issued by the during the last week in December, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.
Sunday, Dec. 25
Ron Carr, a 23-year-old from Manchester was charged with assault on Broadway Boulevard by Ptl. Christian Nazario. Carr was released pending a court date, Parker said.

Tuesday, Dec. 27
Police charged Manchester resident Cyrus Kersey, 47, with driving while intoxicated after being stopped along Colonial Drive by Ptl. Brian Volk. Kersey was released pending court, Parker said.

Friday, Dec. 30
Jeremy Molloy, a 21-year-old from Lacey was charged with drug possession along Route 70 near mile marker 37 by Ptl. Adam Emmons. Police took Molloy to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, Parker said.
Saturday, Dec. 31
Lakewood resident Molly Dean, 26, was charged with shoplifting at the Manchester along Route 571 by Ptl. Christian Nazario. Police found that Dean had an outstanding warrant and was transferred to the Toms River Police Department, Parker said.
