Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Theft and Drug Possession

Manchester Township's police blotter from July 5 through July 8

Manchester police arrested and charged four locals with alleged crimes ranging from criminal mischief to drug possession last week, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

On July 5, John Paxton, 47, a township resident, was charged with criminal mischief in Pine Lake Park by Ptl. Arthur Cronk. According to police, Paxton was released pending a court date.

That same day, Charles Allen, a 22-year-old Toms River resident, was stopped on Route 70 by Ptl. Brian Collins and charged with DWI. Police reported that Allen was released pending a court appearance.

On July 7, Louis Esposito Jr., 53, of Toms River, was picked up along Route 571, arrested and charged with burglary and theft by Ptl. Michael Terranova. According to police, Esposito was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

Manchester resident Sean Flynn, 18, was arrested and charged with drug possession on July 8 in Pine Lake Park by Ptl. Patrick Cervenak. Police said that Flynn was released pending a court date.
