Police Blotter: Drug, DWI and Obstruction Charges Issued

Manchester police charges issued between May 30 and June 1

Two Ocean County men were charged with drug possession last week in , according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker. 

Patrolman Marc Micciulla arrested and charged Denise M. Williams, 22, of Manchester and Daniel Z. Brown, 20, of South Toms River, with the offense at the Silverwoods Apartments, a senior community located off of Route 37.

Williams was released on a summons and Brown was transferred to the custody of the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, according to Parker.

Barnegat resident Richard J. Barlett, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Yorktown Parkway by Patrolman Brian Volk. Parker said that Barlett was released with a summons. 

Friday, June 1

Lavaughne A. Scott, a 23-year-old Jackson resident, was charged with obstruction and hindering near River and Spruce Drives in the township's Ridgeway section. Scott was transferred to the Toms River Police Department, Parker said.
