Police Blotter: Drug, Hindering and DWI Charges Issued
Law enforcement activity recently reported by Manchester police
After a mid-July week during which six county residents were arrested and issued drug charges by the Police Department, just one such offense was reported last week.
Patrolman Joseph Fastige charged 20-year-old Toms River man Dayzjuwon N. Johnson with possession of a controlled dangerous substance on Sunday, July 22, according to information released by Lt. Vincent Manco. Johnson was charged on Route 37 and was released with summonses.

Monday, July 16
Jabree M. Stephenson, 20, of Willingboro, was charged with obstruction of justice and hindering police on Route 70 by Patrolman Brian Collins. Stephenson was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, according to Manco. Mark C. Williams, 22, of Bordentown, was issued the same charges by Collins and was released with summonses.

Wednesday, July 18
Nicole Perrett, 38, of Point Pleasant, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 571 near Manchester Middle School by Patrolman Anthony Iliadis. Perrett was released on summonses, Manco said.
Thursday, July 19
Whiting resident Anthony D. Saldutti, 22, was charged with disorderly conduct on Hope Road by Patrolman Ian Bole. Saldutti was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, according to Manco.
Sunday, July 22
Nicholas S. Mayer, 18, of Toms River was charged with hindering police ony Route 37 by Patrolman Joseph Fastige. Manco said that Mayer was issued summonses.
