Police Blotter: DWI Charges Issued Along Route 571

Recent law enforcement activity reported by Manchester police

Officers from the Police Department issued two driving while intoxicated charges last week, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker. 

The first incident was on Monday, Aug. 6, when Patrolman Ian Bole stopped 39-year-old John Anthony Fenimore Jr. of Howell along Route 571 and charged him with the offense. Fenimore was released with a summons to appear in court, Parker said. 

On Friday, Aug. 10, Patrolman Christian Nazario stopped Vincent C. Smith, 45, of Cape May Beach along Route 571 and charged him with DWI. Police released Smith with a court summons, according to Parker.

Sunday, Aug. 5

Suzannne M. Biese, 20, of Jackson, was charged with loitering for controlled dangerous substances in Summit Park by Patrolman Peter Manco. Biese was released pending a court appearance, Parker said. 

Toms River resident Roderick J. Seward, 43, was charged with disorderly conduct in Manchester's Pine Lake Park section by Patrolman Christian Nazario. Seward was issued a summons to appear in court, Parker said. 

Thursday, Aug. 9

Patrolman Anthony Iliadis charged 49-year-old Kevin E. Meier of Whiting with possession of a weapon at Crestwood Village V's Hilltop Hall. Meier was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, according to Parker.
