Police Blotter: DWI, Drug and Tampering Charges

Arrests and charges made by the Manchester Police Department between Sept. 4 and Sept. 10

Manchester police issued the following charges between Sept. 4 and Sept. 10, according to information recently released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

  • On Sept. 4, William C. Baydalla Jr., a 28-year-old Toms River resident, was stopped along Route 571 by Ptl. Ian Bole and charged with DWI. Police said that Baydalla was released pending a municipal court date. 
  • Francis J. Cavano, 28, of Toms River was charged with DWI following a stop along Route 571 by Ptl. Ian Bole on Sept. 6. According to police, Cavano was released after posting bail. 
  • On Sept. 8, Mogni Monroe, 32, of Manchester was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance on Commonwealth Boulevard by Ptl. Adam Emmons. Police said that Monroe was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. 
  • Also on Sept. 8, 66-year-old Madelna Kubiak of Whiting was charged with DWI while driving along Spring Street by Ptl. Richard Chevrier. Kubiak was transferred to Toms River police, according to Parker.
  • A pair from Toms River were arrested for drug paraphernalia possession on Sept. 9. Daniel Motus, 22, and Matthew Salinski, 21, face the charges after being arrested on Northampton Boulevard by Ptl. Christian Nazario. Both were released pending a municipal court date, police said. 
  • Jason Michaelis, a 37-year-old from Cherry Hill was charged on Sept. 10 with DWI along Commonwealth Boulevard by Ptl. Chris Walaskek. Police said that Michaelis was released pending a municipal court date.
  • That same day, Brian Vonsteenburg, 24, of Whiting was charged with tampering with an ignition interlock device on Lake Drive by Ptl. Cris Cerullo. Vonsteenburg was released pending municipal court, police said.
  • Also on Sept. 10, Sandra Green, a 66-year-old from Whiting, was charged with DWI on Kansas Drive by Ptl. Marc Micciulla. Police said that Green was released pending a municipal court date.

The above charges filed by police are not an indication of guilt.
