Police Blotter: DWI, Stolen Property and Bad Check Charges

Manchester's police blotter from Aug. 21 through Sept. 3

The issued the following charges over the last two weeks, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

  • On Aug. 21, Nelson Manibo, a 49-year-old from Jersey City, was charged with DWI following a traffic stop on Route 70 near Green Acres by Ptl. Arthur Cronk. Police said that Manibo was released on a summons pending a court date.

  • A Manchester man was charged with writing bad checks in late August. Michael Maribo, 39, was charged by Detective Albert Vega with the offense on Aug. 24. Police reported that he was transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

  • Brian O'Hare, 53, of Manchester, was charged on Aug. 26 with DWI by Ptl. Brian Volk while traveling on Manchester Boulevard. O'Hare was released on a summons pending a court date, according to police.

  • On Aug. 30, Mark Sloan, a 35-year-old from Manchester was charged with possession of stolen property on Bluebird Lane by Detective Chris Hemhauser. Sloan was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, police said.

  • Salvatore Pellitteri, 60, of Whiting was charged with DWI on Route 70 by Ptl. Thomas O'Hare on Sept. 3. According to police, Pellitteri was released after posting bail.
