Police Blotter: Six Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

Charges from law enforcement came between Nov. 7 and Nov. 12

 

The following arrests and charges were reported by local law enforcement during the previous week in November.

Monday, Nov. 7:

• Patrolman Stephen Hankins arrested John W. Dames III, 36, of Bayville on outstanding warrants at the intersection of Route 37 and Northampton Boulevard. Dames was then transported to the Ocean County Jail, police reported.

• Manchester Police Department Capt. Lisa Parker reported that Michael J. Saranza, a 49-year-old from Whiting, was arrested on Columbine Court for outstanding warrants by Ptl. Brian Collins. Parker said that Saranza was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

Tuesday, Nov. 8:

• Richard Erving, 19, of Lakehurst, was arrested on a possession of a controlled dangerous substance charge on Route 37 by Patrolman Matthew Juralewicz. According to Parker, court charges against Erving are currently pending.

• Carrie Bogurski, 31, of Manchester was arrested on a theft charge at Manchester police headquarters by Patrolman Paul Bachovchin. Court charges against Bogurski are currently pending.

• Parker also reported that Edward Martin, a 34-year-old from Little Falls, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Ocean Township at Manchester Police Headquarters by Patrolman Michael Lynch.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 9:

• James W. Smith, 41, of Manchester was arrested on outstanding warrants at the intersection of Route 571 and Richard Road by Patrolman Ian Bole. According to police, court charges against Smith are currently pending.

• Marcus M. Maye, 39, of Pennsauken was arrested on outstanding warrants at mile marker 36 on Route 70 by Patrolman Craig Beaulieu. Maye was then transported to the Ocean County Jail.

 

Friday, Nov. 11:

• Eddie Bathea, 40, of Long Island, NY, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Franklin Township on Birmingham Avenue by Patrolman Charles Gatnarek.

 

Saturday, Nov. 12:

• Phillip Catone, 38, of Manchester was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property on Horicon Avenue by Patrolman Christian Nazario. Also arrested at the scene by Nazario was 31-year-old Anne Donahue of Manchester, on a trespassing charge. Both Catone and Donahue were then transported to the Ocean County Jail.

• Parker also reported that William Moore, a 53-year-old from Robbinsville, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at the intersection of Route 37 and Colonial Drive by Patrolman Charles Gatnarek. Court charges are currently pending against Moore, according to police.
