Police Blotter: Police Make 4 DWI Stops Last Week

Arrests and charges issued in Manchester between Sept. 19 and Sept. 24

officers issued the following charges last week, according to information released by Capt. Lisa Parker.

  • On Sept. 19, Dennis Amend, a 59-year-old Manchester man, was charged with obstruction of administration of law at Liverpool Circle in Leisure Village West by Ptl. Peter Manco. Police said that Amend was released on a summons.
  • Michael Palocin, 45, of Manchester, was charged with eluding police and driving while intoxicated on Sept. 20 after a stop on First Avenue in the township's Pine Lake Park section by Ptl. Arthur Cronk. Palocin was released pending a municipal court date, police said. 
  • A 19-year-old Lakehurst resident was charged with driving while intoxicated and underage DWI following a traffic stop along Route 37 by Ptl. Patrick Cervenak on Sept. 24. Childs was released on a summons, police said.
