Police: Juvenile Allegedly Entered Adjoined Neighbor's Home Through Attic, Stole Jewelry
Charges were issued to 17-year-old male on Sunday
A 17-year-old faces multiple charges after police allege he entered an adjoining home in a senior community through the attached attic and stole jewelry.
Police were called to a Chesterfield Court home in Leisure Village West on Sunday, Sept. 23, when a resident said that jewelry was missing from her home, Manchester Police Department Capt. Lisa Parker said in a statement.
"During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the point of entry was a hole that had been made in the firewall in the attic between the victim's residence and the attached neighbor's attic," Parker said.

Police identified the suspect as a 17-year-old who lives with his mother in a home that is connected to the victim's residence, Parker said. The suspect's name was not released because he is a minor.
The juvenile was charged with burglary, theft and falsely implicating another in a crime, Parker said. He was released into his mother's custody.
