House In Manchester Senior Community Significantly Damaged In Car Crash
Driver suffered medical emergency.
A resident of the Renaissance at Manchester senior community crashed into a house in the neighborhood on Saturday causing extensive damage, according to Manchester police.
Police responded to 57 Tuscany Circle in the Renaissance development for a call of a vehicle striking a residence.
Patrick Scanlon, 71, was traveling on Renaissance Boulevard West when he had an unknown medical emergency, police said.

Scanlon’s vehicle left the roadway and traveled approximately 75 yards across a common grass area before striking the residence.
The impact caused extensive damage to a bedroom and closet, police said.

The residents, who were home at the time of the accident, were not injured.
Also assisting at the scene were the Manchester and Ridgeway Fire Companies.
Scanlon was transported to Community Medical Center, Toms River, for treatment by Quality Medical Transport.
