State Police say the woman who was missing from Manchester has been found.
The police had asked for the public’s help in locating a woman with advanced Alzheimer’s who went missing from Manchester Township.
The 71-year-old, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was driving a 2003 silver Saturn L300 sedan with the New Jersey license plate RPL66S, police said. She was last spotted in Barnegat just after 1 p.m., and may have been headed north on the Parkway.
She’s described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, about 121 pounds, with brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. She was wearing a beige short-sleeve shirt and beige pants when she went missing.
In addition to having Alzheimer’s, the woman also suffers from chronic pulmonary disease, police said.
Police said they didn’t know where she was headed, but asked area residents to keep an eye out for the woman and her car. Anyone who spots her is asked to call 911.
