Two Borough Men Arrested In Cops In Shops Detail

Lakehurst police recently arrested two Lakehurst men at Baileys Liquors on Route 70 during a Cops In Shops undercover investigation, Police Chief Eric S. Higgins said.

Robert Schluter, 40, and Ryan Seaman, 20, were arrested by Officer Jason Guide at 9:30 p.m. on July 11, shortly after they entered the liquor store, the chief said.

Guide was working undercover and saw Seaman take several cans of beer from the beer coolers. When they reached the counter, Seaman handed Schluter cash. When the two left the store, Seaman was carrying a six-pack of Miller beer. They then headed west on Route 70, the chief said.
